Regarded as one of the top stand-up comedians in Mexico, Escamilla’s unapologetic wit and dark sense of humor have earned him the nickname “El Amo del Sarcasmo” or “The Master of Sarcasm.” Born in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico, Escamilla embarked on his comedy career following his time at Monterrey College of Music and Dance. After garnering a loyal following from his YouTube channel, Escamilla hosted his own comedic talk show “El Show de Franco Escamilla” on Estrella TV in 2016. In 2017, he continued to enjoy mainstream success with the release of his debut acoustic album “Fe” and his Comedy Central Special “Franco Escamilla: El Comediante del Sombrero.”
His celebrity status skyrocketed after historic performances at the Arena Ciudad de México, Carnegie Hall, the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles and the Hulu Theater in New York. The beloved entertainer is celebrated internationally for his unique, immersive style that features classic standup comedy, live music, poetry, parodies, crowd interaction and more.
Escamilla will return in 2024 with his new show, “1995,” which will take audiences through the most important, funny and impactful events that happened during 1995. He is sure to deliver top-tier performances in his unique style with anecdotes, facts and an unexpected twist. Doors open at 7 p.m.
