LAREDO, TEXAS – Triple A Promotions is proud to announce Summer Fight Fest 2022 on Saturday, July 20 with 7 scheduled bouts.

“The Sames Auto Arena and Triple-A Promotions along with our sponsors are very excited for the return of Fight Fest, a local boxing event that features professional talent,” said Juan C. Mendiola, General Manager of the ASM Global- managed Sames Auto Arena.

Headlining the event is the return of former middle weight and top prospect champion Rodolfo (La Cobrita) Gomez Jr. Gomez with a record of 14-5 will be facing undefeated WBO Latino champion with an 11-0 record Lester Martinez out of Guatemala managed by former world class referee Richard Steele. This will be a 10-round bout with the WBO belt on the line. 

In the co-main event, long awaited return as undefeated local prospect with a 9-0 record, Joshua Juarez makes his return to the square circle after a three-year layoff. Juarez will be facing an experience and veteran of the sport Randy McCarty from New Mexico with a 7-4 record in a 6 round bout. 

Also, in the card we have a special attraction bout as Felix (Kitty) Garcia Jr., son of retired local professional boxer and now one of the best trainer Felix (Gato) Garcia, will be making his professional debut in the states. 

Rounding off the bout card will be local rising warriors Jose Cardenas (6-1), Jose Martinez (4-0), and Jaime Guevara (1-0). From Nuevo Laredo Cesar Garcia Torrijos will be facing San Antonio Robert Ledesma for the ABO title belt in a 6 round bout.
