LAREDO, TEXAS – California-based Regional Mexican group Eslabon Armado will perform for the first time at the Sames Auto Arena on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
“This group reframes the traditional Regional Mexican music of ranchera by creating a feel of campfire music with their guitars-and-vocals-only approach,” said Juan C. Mendiola, General Manager of the ASM Global - managed Sames Auto Arena. “They have collaborated with Junior H, who’s concert sold out at the arena earlier this year. Founded in 2017 by three teenage friends, the band is now a four-member group who include Pedro Tovar, Jr. (lead vocals), Brian Tovar (bass), Damian Pacheco (requinto guitar) and Ulises Gonzalez (acoustic guitar).
Their influence comes from the music listened by their parents, which are norteño and ranchera. They studied Sierreña music and combined all three genres to their songs. The group’s name Eslabon Armado translates to linked chain, which proves the interlocking vocal harmonies and mixed styles of genres.
They have released five studio albums. They received several awards and nominations including two Billboard Music Awards, Two Billboard Latin Music Awards and two Latin American Music Awards.
Their fifth album Nostalgia reached number one at the Regional Mexican Albums chart and peaked at number nine at the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first Regional Mexican album to achieve a top 10 position in the chart.

Ellos estudiaron la musica Sierreña y así combinaron el estilo de 3 géneros en sus canciones. El nombre del grupo Eslabon Armado, hace mención precisamente al eslabón que arma uniendo los 3 diferentes géneros y armonías vocales.
Cinco albums han sido lanzados ya. Recibieron algunos reconocimientos y nominaciones incluyendo dos premios Billboard de la música y dos premios de la Música Latina.
Su quinto album “Nostalgia” llego al número uno en la categoría álbum Regional Mexicano, También llego al número nueve en el Billoboard de la tabla de sus primeros 200.
