Headlining this event is the long awaited return of local 4× champion Jorge Castaneda. With a record of 15-2 and winning title belts like the WBC Youth, the WBC Silver the ABF super feather weight plus adding the ABF light weight championship belt as well Castaneda is ready to step back in the square circle in his home town.
Castaneda had been away fighting in the undercards of top promoter Eddie Hearn and Matchroom boxing. For his return, he will be facing undefeated NBA Champion Nestor Medellin out of the valley with a 9-0 record, another top prospect.
Adding to the main event, the co-main event doesn't fall to far behind as another top local prospect undefeated Joshua Juarez 10-0 takes on hard hitting Leopoldo Reyna with a record of 11-3.
Juarez fought a year ago in Laredo and is eager to step in the ring once more in front of his hometown.
Rounding out the under card will be a variety of local rising stars as crowd pleasing fighter Polito Martinez makes his return as well as Jose Cardenas, Jaime Guevara, Jesus Maldonado, Octavio Pulido, Oscar Gomez, Joaquin Valdez and Mario Ramirez.
