During the high-adrenaline season, the Velocity Tour will debut in three new cities – Tulsa, Oklahoma, Everett, Washington, and Tallahassee, Florida – while returning to Birmingham, Alabama, for the first time since 2017. Due to popular demand, PBR has also increased the tour’s presence in Portland, Oregon, Spokane, Washington, and Grand Forks, North Dakota by expanding each event to two days.

Throughout the upcoming five-month 2025 season, the Velocity Tour will hold 30 regular-season events, headlined by 13 double-up event weekends, including the tour’s season-launch weekend when it will concurrently hold events in Portland, Oregon (Jan. 3-4 | Moda Center) and Birmingham, Alabama (Jan. 4 | Legacy Arena at the BJCC).

To conclude the intense slate of January events, the Velocity Tour will host four consecutive double-up shows.

Following the series’ opening weekend, the Velocity Tour then travels to North Charleston, South Carolina (Jan. 10-11 | North Charleston Coliseum) and Spokane, Washington (Jan. 10-11 | Spokane Arena) concurrently.

The Velocity Tour will return to the iconic National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado, holding one of its two three-day events, and lone mid-week tour stop, Jan. 13-15. This will be proceeded by simultaneous events in Charleston, West Virginia (Jan. 17-18 | Charleston Coliseum) and Bakersfield, California (Jan. 18 | Mechanics Bank Arena) that weekend.

On Jan. 24-25 the Velocity Tour will host synchronized events in Grand Rapids, Michigan (Van Andel Arena) and Tulsa, Oklahoma (BOK Center). The event in Tulsa will mark the Velocity Tour’s debut inside BOK Center, following in the footsteps of a popular Unleash The Beast event which has historically been won by seven riders en route to the World Championship.

The intense month of competition will then conclude with concurrent events in Greenville, South Carolina (Jan. 31-Feb. 1 | Bon Secours Wellness Arena) and Laredo, Texas (Sames Auto Arena| Jan 31-Feb. 1).

Throughout February, the Velocity Tour will visit eight cities across as many states with events in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Nevada, Virginia, and Connecticut.

During the campaign, the Velocity Tour’s reach will be on full display as it holds events more than 2,300 miles apart, visiting Everett, Washington, for the first time at Angel of the Winds Arena on Feb. 14-15, and Memphis, Tennessee, at FedExForum on Feb. 15.

To kick off its March campaign, the Velocity Tour will hold its second, and final, three-day event of the season in Bangor, Maine, at Cross Insurance Center on March 7-9, concurrent with the series’ return to Lexington, Kentucky, and Rupp Arena on March 7-8.

As the month continues, PBR’s Velocity Tour will debut in Tallahassee, Florida, at Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on March 14-15, concurrent with the series’ return to Knoxville, Tennessee, and Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on March 15. The month will then conclude with the final two double-up weekends of Velocity Tour action with shows in Wheeling, West Viriginia (WesBanco Arena) and Dayton, Ohio (Nutter Center) on March 21-22, and trips to Fresno, California’s Save Mart Center on March 28-29 and Lincoln, Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena on March 29.

In the final month of the season, The Velocity Tour will traverse the Western United States, visiting Eugene, Oregon (April 4-5 | Matthew Knight Arena) and Grand Forks, North Dakota (April 11-12 | Alerus Center), before Oakland, California, and Oakland Arena hosts the regular-season finale on April 19.

For the fourth consecutive year, the prestigious PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas, launching the well-known Buc Days celebration. Riders will be vying for the title of 2025 PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion with five spots also on the line to qualify for the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast.

The 2025 schedule announcement follows a historic 2024 campaign for the organization’s expansion series, as the PBR Velocity Tour broke and reset numerous attendance and competition records en route to its most successful season to date.

In 2024, the Velocity Tour hosted more than 356,000 fans, setting 16 event attendance records, while selling out 20 event days.

On the dirt, Grayson Cole (New Ringgold, Pennsylvania) delivered a clutch ride on the final day of the campaign in Corpus Christi, Texas, to be crowned the 2024 PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion. Cole’s Velocity Tour Finals-best, 89.25-point ride atop Pearl Snap (Lonnie & Amy Austin) earned him the coveted title and accompanying $50,000 as he finished a slim 40.5 points ahead of No. 2 Ederson Santos (Ilha Solteira, Brazil) who he trailed entering the event.
