Mayor will provide update on city initiatives, projects and future goals
LAREDO, Texas—As part of his official duties, Mayor Pete Saenz is poised to provide an update to the public on the state of our city this Thursday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sames Auto Arena.
Mayor Saenz will give an informative presentation providing highlights on infrastructure, public safety, economic development, quality of life enhancements, and new initiatives and goals within the city’s internal government organization.
The public will also learn of achievements and plans for each of the eight city districts. Also new this year, the public had the opportunity to submit their own questions about city government and services to the mayor via social media and those questions as well as others will be answered during this year’s address.
This event is open to the public and free for anyone wanting to attend. Program prelude begins at 6:00 p.m. with an opening ceremony set to begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and light refreshments will be served.
